My Senegence Story
Inspiration to find beauty in your journey, tools to build your confidence in yourself and your business, and encouragement to choose to live life in love and abundance, and then work for it.
My name is Shea and I am a Coast Guard wife and mama to three amazing kids - a 19 year old that forever changed my life for the better, a 9 year old firecracker of a little girl who unknowingly prompted this journey, and a six year old little boy who makes everything significantly more funny in every moment.
Four years ago I was stressed, exhausted, and looking like a train wreck most days, but it never occurred to me to worry about that. I was too busy taking care of everyone else. We had just moved to Southern California and I was needing to find a job, but the idea of going back to work with two small ones, numerous medical appointments throughout each week, and a husband who was underway all the time seemed impossible.
It was then that I was introduced to Lipsense, the Wow product that had all my friends talking. I didn’t understand what all the fuss was about, but I saw an opportunity. Had it not been for the position we were in, I likely would have passed right by without a second thought, but when I saw the possibilities with the products, the reputation of the company, and the compensation plan, I knew this was something I had to try. I had no idea where it would lead. Now I lead a multi million dollar organization, am an international trainer, a boutique owner, business coach, mentor, and serial entrepreneur.
Those roles can seem scary and I am still learning to wear the tiara that comes with the title, but it has given me the opportunity to grow as a woman, as a human, AND as a mom and wife. Do you ever feel like you have to introduce yourself as a partner and/or mom, but miss having an identity all your own???
It can be hard to admit that, and it is scary to try and reinvent yourself while there are so many other “bigger” priorities, but what is the alternative? The learning never ends, but the challenges you learn to overcome and the confidence you gain radiate to all areas of your life. Maybe you heard this quote recently, “When women are empowered, they immeasurably improve the lives of everyone around them.” Prince Harry (do we still call him that? 🤔) may be on to something. I would love to hear if this is something you are aware of in your own life, and whether you have overcome it or are still working through it. Send me a message on Facebook!
I’m super glad you’re here, and I can’t wait to get to know you better.
